As an officially recognised organisation for technical maintenance, we have the required licences (EASA Part-145) for various types of helicopters. As a maintenance organisation, the HSB Technics team also provides this service to commercial helicopter operators and private helicopter owners. The certificate granted to Heli Service Belgium is EASA Part-145 BE.145.39.

EASA Part-145 contains the regulations and procedures for the technical maintenance of aircraft. The European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) is the strategic department of the EU responsible for aviation safety. Its task is to implement and enforce the highest common standards concerning safety and environment in civil aviation. Within each member state, the local aviation authorities are responsible for implementing these standards and ensuring compliance. In Belgium, this oversight is provided by the technical service of the Belgian Civil Aviation Authority. A Belgian award of the EASA Part-145 certificate proves that a maintenance organisation is approved according to EASA Part-145 standards.
HSB also has a continuing airworthiness management organisation (BE.CAMO.0012). To be approved to perform an airworthiness review, the recognised management organisation must have suitable airworthiness review staff to issue airworthiness review certificates or recommendations.
